How does Amflor work?

Amine fluoride reduces the surface tension of saliva and actively spreads over the teeth and other surface of mouth. Due to surface active property amine fluoride aligns homogenously on the surface of teeth.

Fluoride ions combines rapidly with the calcium in dental enamel to form calcium fluoride. The surfactant characteristics of amine fluorides promotes the formation of stable homogeneous calcium layer.

This stable homogenous calcium fluoride layer protects the underlying enamel against acid attack for longer period of time compared to inorganic fluoride and is readily available for remineralisation. It also forms fluoroapatite in the demineralized areas of the tooth.

Case Studies

Special consideration while wearing braces.

Brace wearers face difficulty cleaning their teeth. Negligence leads to development of white spot lesions during orthodontic treatment. Disease causing plaque is a common problem among brace wearers. Amflor is specifically formulated for use during dental brace treatment to maintain good oral hygiene.

Protect your healthy smile during orthodontic treatment.

Organic fluoride in Amflor aids active re-mineralisation of enamel with superior results. Amflor envelopes the oral cavity, protecting your teeth during the treatment. It inhibits the development of white spot lesions, forming a stable layer on your teeth surfaces. Amflor forms a thin Calcium Fluoride layer for long-term protection against acid attacks as compared to inorganic fluorides. Use Amflor mouthwash and toothpaste to complement full oral benefit and care.
